Design tip #1 Master the 60-30-10 Color Rule
This design uses a dominant , sub-dominant, and accent color to control visual hierarchy. In the Booker Seakhouse Wrap Design you will find 60% Inactive colors (black, charcoal or Deep Blue), 30% active colors (red, orange, etc.), and 10% highlight (white or silver). These color proportion keeps the design bold and digestable even at 100 mph.
Design tip #2 Use the Rule of Thirds to Guide Focal Flow
Position key elements — numbers, logos, and graphics — along the third lines rather than centering them. Let the design lead the eye from the front of the car toward the number, then to the sponsor. This creates natural motion and visual rhythm, making the car feel fast even when parked. Triangulate focal points in the wrap.
Design tip# 3 Prepare for colorblind
Roughly 1 in 12 men and 1 in 200 women are colorblind, often struggling to tell reds, blacks, and blues apart. That’s why white, yellow, silver, and fluorescent accents are so popular in wrap design — they create active highlights that make every shape stand out. In this wrap, the bright outline not only helps colorblind fans but also improves distance readability and TV visibility.
