Q. Can I retype the text in the number and sponsors on wrap layouts?
A. The text in wrap layouts is not live type. You cannot change it, by selecting it and retyping it. Wrap layouts are provided for graphic composition, we included the number and sponsors for you to use as guides for what looks good with each layout. We do our best to make sure our files can be opened and edited in all the popular graphic design software. To include live text in one graphic design sofware would make the file incompatible with other graphic design software. Also the numbers on the layouts are setup using SRGFX Number Sets, which are not fonts. Our number sets are vector files that can be opened and edit like any other vector graphic design file.
Our expectation is that if you purchase one of our wrap layouts you have the ability as a graphic designer to open and modify the file by removing elements, changing colors and modify shapes. Wrap layouts are not a stand alone design software or catered to beginner designers.
Q. Why do the wrap layouts come with very little texture and gradients.
A. Textures and gradients make files complicated and incompatible with multiple design software. We work extremely hard to make sure the wrap layouts open as clean and organized as possible in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, Flexi Sign, Inkscape, LXI, Sign Blazer and more. If we leave the textures and gradients in the files, you may find it difficult to maneuver graphic shapes and various clipping masks will be placed in the art depending on the design software. To avoid that, we keep the file, neat, clean and tidy so you can add textures and gradients in with ease at your own discretion.

Q. Are wrap layouts a “do it yourself” option?
A. The short answer is not really. All of our products are created for intermediate to advanced level graphic designers. The wrap layouts are graphic design files that require graphic design skills and knowledge. This is not a quick plug and play option for someone with little to no experience. However, if you would like to learn, we recommend our course Mastering Adobe Illustrator. This course will teach you every thing you need to know and equip you to modify SRGFX products and wrap layouts.
Q. Can’t I create the wrap layout using the required products without purchasing the wrap layout?
A. Yes! All the assets we used to create the wrap layout are included in the required products. However, we often modify the graphics a bit or tweak the number shape to match the flow of the design. Those modifications are not included in the required products.
Q. Ive already purchased a required product for this layout. Do I need to purchase it again?
A. No. Even if you purchased an asset years ago, you do not need to purchase it again. What’s really awesome is that any layout that uses that same asset also becomes available. For instance, if you purchased Vector Racing Number Set 9 in 2014 and then Vector Racing Graphic Pack 9 in 2019. Any layouts that use those products will become available to you for purchase. You never have to purchase those to assets again to acquire more layouts. Any layouts released in the future using those two assets will also be available to you at the cost of the layout only, because of your one time purchase.
Premium members get all layouts for free of charge with purchase of required assets.
Q. Why do I have to purchase other products to purchase layouts?
A. All of our layouts include design assets from various SRGFX products. To purchase a wrap layout that has assets from multiple SRGFX products, we require that the assets used to create the wrap layout are purchased and then the wrap layout becomes available. This way our products never become fragmented or sold partially.
We have had requests to sell our wrap layouts in the past, to which we would request that the required SRGFX products associated with the wrap layout would be purchased. We would then ask for an additional payment and manually email the wrap layout. By selling the wrap layouts on SRGFX.com with required purchases automates the process for us and you.
Premium members do not have to pay any additional fees to get the wrap layout. Simply purchase the 2 required products if you have not already and then put the Wrap Layout in your cart and you will not be charged anything during the checkout process.
Q. How come the wrap layout does not come with all the sponsors that the layout has in the portfolio?
A. Most companies logos are licensed and are official property of the company who owns the logo. If we include the logo in a file for purchase we run the risk of illegally distributing intellectual property of a company or a designer who is not affiliated with us. Many of the industry logos are available for free in various places on the internet. You can find the logo resources that we have collected here » SRGFX.com did not create the logos found on this page and cannot be held responsible for the quality of the logos found at the 3rd party links.
Any fictitious logos that we did create will be included with the car and live text editable versions of those logos are available to premium members for free.
Q. Do wrap layouts come with a presentation template?
A. The wrap layouts do not come with a template but they are compatible with the templates for sale on SRGFX.com. All templates are sold separately.
Q. Will I be able to change the color of SRGFX.com graphics?
A. The colors on any SRGFX.com racing graphics can be easily changed. You must have a vector graphic editing program to do so. The reason SRGFX.com sometimes provides color variations is for quick, out of the box options. The following programs can be used to change and manipulate our vector racing graphic packs.Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, Flexi Sign, Inkscape (Free Program), SignLab, SignBlazer, Vinyl Express LXi, Vinyl Master, etc.
